Sheep jumper
- fit is true to size
- cosy, folded rib crew neckline
A jumper inspired by the sheep that roam around the fields surrounding my home. I've enjoyed wearing this jumper for countryside walks as well as dates with friends - I find it very versatile, timeless, cosy and durable.
This jumper is composed of 100% Supersoft lambswool which does a fantastic job at retaining your heat but without making you feel a panicked hot like acrylic pieces would. Not only that but wool is also antibacterial and odour-resistant so requires very infrequent washing. My natural fibre jumpers need washing every 10+ wears and can often just be aired out instead of washed. And last, but certainly not least, lambswool is a much more sustainable fibre. It requires 70% less water than cotton to produce 100 jumpers, is biodegradable, and is extremely durable and therefore yields long-lasting garments that can be cherished for years to come.
Each jumper is made by hand by me in my home studio in Kent. I use a hand-operated domestic knitting machine from 1982 to knit up the panels and seam the pieces stitch for stitch on my linker. Seeing a piece come to life in my hands feels very special to me and ensures I can maintain the highest quality across all my pieces. Each piece takes me 2 days to complete and the cost goes towards my labour, my original designs, the highest quality 100% Supersoft lambswool and other top-quality materials.
For the first run of this sheep jumper, I would like to offer early supporters a first edition price of £210, while future runs will be priced at £225 to reflect the full cost of making.
Please note that all my items are made to order, with lead times of up to six weeks. Everything is custom made so please reach out to discuss adjustments if you require them :)
