Striped gloves
Featuring a chunky red and blue striped pattern, the flecked, donegal wool really shines here. These are so versatile and add a gorgeous pop of colour to any outfit! I chose red and icy blue to reflect the hues of Autumn and Winter, respectively.
These woollen gloves keep your palms toasty whilst keeping your fingers free - they act almost like an extension to your jumper. They are truly warm and have been a staple for any outdoor outfits for this Autumn and Winter.
Gloves are ONE SIZE (15 cm long). Wool has natural flexibility and will adapt to the shape of your hands over time. If your gloves feel a little snug at first, they should soften and relax with wear.
Made by me
Each piece is hand-knitted by me, Gracie, in my Kent studio using a hand-operated, refurbished, secondhand knitting machine. I use the finest, natural chunky wool spun in Donegal, Ireland and Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Each piece is fully-fashioned and carefully linked by hand, producing little to no waste. Ready to ship, so your knit will be on its way soon.
Care guide
Wool is naturally antibacterial and odour-resistant, so frequent washing is not necessary - airing out is often enough.
When washing, use a gentle wool cycle or hand wash in lukewarm water. Gently press out excess water (never wring), reshape and dry flat.
Store folded rather than hung to help your knitwear keep its shape.
Sustainability
My pieces are made-to-order, meaning I only make what is needed and avoid unnecessary waste. Each piece is made by hand and from durable UK-spun wools, meaning I can ensure the production of high quality garments made to last. When my pieces do eventually reach the end of their life (hopefully after many hundreds of wears) the wool will completely biodegrade, returning gently to the Earth.
